About Pilates

What is Pilates? Pilates is a method of movement that trains the body to build lean and toned muscles while promoting realignment, strength, agility, flexibility and mind to body connection inside the body.
 
Pilates was invented by Joseph Pilates, a health enthusiast and educator in the art of movement. Pilates was designed to rehabilitate the injured and soon after became an effective regiment to staying fit and healthy.

Pilates is for everyone! If you are an athlete or dancer, Pilates is a great excercise for cross-training to increase performance ability. If you are out of shape, dealing with an injury or just feeling low on energy, Pilates will rejuvinate your body and mind.
